American Quaternary Association
The American Quaternary Association (AMQUA) is a professional organization of scientists devoted to studying all aspects of the Quaternary Period. Founded in 1970, AMQUA fosters cooperation among the numerous disciplines relevant to Quaternary research, such as terrestrial and marine geoprocesses, geohistory, paleobiology, geochronology, geochemistry, geophysics, archaeology, anthropology, and paleoclimatology.
