The hydrology of the Great Salt Lake has significant wildland and residential landscape components. Each requires a different hydrologic monitoring scheme to investigate the hydrologic processes of interest. Two experiments are compared to demonstrate the similarities and differences in conducting wildland and reisdential hydrology within semi-arid systems.
