ICHNOLOGY AND NEW ICHNOSPECIES FROM SOLTANIEH TYPE SECTION (NE OF ZANJAN) NW OF IRAN | ||

These ichnospecies consist of: Psammichnites giga ( Torell 1868), Bergaueria perata (Prantl1945). These ichnospecies are attributed to Lower Cambrian and developed in the Cruziana ichnofacies (Seilacher., 1970). These ichnospecies indicate low rate of sedimentation and shallow quiet-water setting below the daily wave base but above the storm-wave base.
