American Quaternary Association
The American Quaternary Association (AMQUA) is a professional organization of scientists devoted to studying the Quaternary Period. Founded in 1970, AMQUA fosters cooperation and communication among scientists from the numerous disciplines relevant to Quaternary studies, including terrestrial geoprocesses, marine geoprocesses, geohistory, paleobiology, geochronology, geochemistry, geophysics, archaeology, anthropology, and paleoclimatology.
