| Field Trip Description: This trip will visit outcrops of the important bedrock aquifers in the Denver Basin. We will examine a series of detailed subsurface data sets tied to the outcrops and evaluate the volume and character of the groundwater resource that is being rapidly exploited in the Douglas County area. Trip will be of interest to stratigraphers, water use planners, and residents of the Front Range urban corridor. |
