Birding the Upper Texas Coast

Field Trip Description: The upper Texas coast is one of the best places for bird watching as it lies on one of the great migration pathways. Come join us for trip to the Bolivar Peninsula and Galveston where we will see some of the largest concentrations of wintering shorebirds in the United States. Fall is also a good time to see a number of southward bound songbirds, such as warblers, orioles, and vireos.
Field Trip will span: 1 day
