INTEGRATED LOWER SILURIAN BIOSTRATIGRAPHY

LOYDELL, David K., School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Portsmouth, Burnaby Road, Portsmouth PO1 3QL United Kingdom, david.loydell@port.ac.uk

The last 10 years has seen several integrated biostratigraphical studies published. Correlation of lower Silurian graptolite, conodont and chitinozoan biozonations has been improved, but there is still plenty more work to be done.

This presentation will highlight what has been achieved and show the results of some recent as yet unpublished work in this field.
