Detailed elaboration of the Carboniferous foraminiferal scheme of the Tien-Shan (Bensh & al., 1989; Bensh & al., 1996; Orlova, 1994) allowed too accurate the location of some stages boundaries. The boundary between the Serpukhovian and Bashkirian stages was established on the base of the Varvariella varvariensis - Plectostaffella jakhensis and approximately coincides with the base of the conodont zone Declignathodus noduliferous and ammonoid zone Homoceras-Hudsonoceras. This zone correlates with the zone Eostaffella pseudostruvei - E. postmosquensis - V. varvariensis (Krasnopolyansky horizon) of the Russian Scale. Plectostaffella bogdanovkensis zone of the Ural is a stratigraphic analogue of the lower part of the zone Eostaffella pseudostruvei - E. postmosquensis - V. varvariensis of the Russian Scale. The boundary between the Moskovian and Kasimovian stages is established on the base of the Obsoletes obsoletes - Protriticites pseudomontiparus, and identified to the zone of Moskovian Syneclise (Krevyakinsky horizon), having the same name. Streptognathodus oppletus appear at this level among conodonts. The underlying Moskovian stage was singled out as a Fusulinella schwageriniformis zone. In its top are recognized the first Praeobsoletes, characterized for a roof of the Myachkovsky horizon of the Russian Scale. Thus, the boundary between the Lower and Middle Carboniferous of the Russian Scale has been precise using data of Tien-Shan's sections. A boundary between the Middle and Upper Carboniferous corresponds to the boundary series of the Moskovian Syneclise stratotypes.
