Watershed and surface water geochemistry data was assembled through the River Basin Research Initiative. This data is presented as part of an ongoing, collaborative research effort at Furman University.

The Enoree River basin has been subdivided into its smaller watersheds associated with each sampling location. Generally, samples were taken just headwater of the confluence of tributaries. Land use characteristics within each watershed will be delineated using 1999-2000 aerial photography made available by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. Stream order and the size of each watershed will also be reported. Stream sampling data will be integrated with land data for portions of the Enoree River basin, Greenville County, South Carolina.
