The paper presents the application of engineering geomorphology and hydrology by a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanganyika in the early 1960's. The specific topics covered are the use of hydrology and geomorphology in the design of stream and river crossings in a region with limited data, and the application of physiographic analysis to a road survey though out Tanganyika. Additional comments are made about application of physiographic considerations to a feeder road survey in Ghana.
