Compliance planning for mercury control will require an integrated approach. Post combustion controls will need to be evaluated as well as options for pre-combustion management. Some pre combustion options include upgraded fuels, coal blending, enhanced coal cleaning and novel fuel addititves. this paper will discuss an integrated approach for small to mid-size utility applications.
