The study of underground water potential of the area aimed the supporting of tourism development. There are studied geological conditions for detecting underground water flow and mapping the coastal water springs, the comparing of Cl content of sea side fresh waters with sea waters, the cumulative vs. abrasive boarder, conductivity measurements. Based on above measurements and observations are given prospective areas with fresh water flows useful for tourism development. Water bearing capacity of the area ranges from 10-12 m3/sec and about 65% of above capacity discharges as submarine waters which needs to be protected from contamination of future tourism activities. For evaluation of water sea intrusion and the intersecting of underground waters are carried out several boreholes and several of them have encountered good quality fresh waters. Needs to be noted that aquifers of coastal zone fans have good quality waters. Discovering of underground fresh waters of Ionian coastal area is a good achievement for supporting development of touristic zones.
