ENHANCING YOUR NEW (OR RENOVATED) GEOLOGY PROGRAM

New or renovated Geology Programs need to grow over time. Several areas in which improvement can be made include: establishing a speaker series; mission statement; internships; reference collection; licensing and registration; and external review. I present suggestions for each area.

The relative importance of achieving goals should be established, timetable set, and anticipated costs budgeted.
