CASPER, Craig, PRAGG Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments, 15 South 7th Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80905 and MANORE, Michael, Bentley Systems, Inc, P.O. Box 245, Hudson, WI 54016-0245, ccasper@ppacg.org

Leveraging publicly available visual data (i.e. Google Earth) and enhancing it with visual and non-visual data from within your organization can provide both opportunities and issues.

Expanded communication along web-based environments of many data sources (internal and external) can enhance decision-making considerably. However there are technical and organization issues that need to be considered when looking to leverage these tools.

This presentation will highligh the successes of the Pikes Peak COG in applying these visualization tools over the web, and provide insight with respect to best practices when considering them for your organization.
