BROMLEY, Samuel F., Geoscience Department, Hamilton College, Hamilton College, 198 College Hill Rd, Clinton, NY 13323 and DOMACK, Cynthia R., Geoscience Department, Hamilton College, 198 College Hill Road, Clinton, NY 13323, cdomack@hamilton.edu

An exercise designed to focus on foraminifera identification and morphology was created to be incorporated into a micropaleontology course at the undergraduate level. The exercise includes readings, questions, and hands-on work with a real marine sediment sample rich in foraminifera. Although specifically constructed for a Recent marine sediment sample from Paupau, New Guinea, the exercise could be modified to work with foraminifera-rich sample from other locations or ages.
