A CONSTRAINED MONTE CARLO APPROACH TO MODELING PROFILES OF COSMOGENIC NUCLIDES

We present and demonstrate a user-friendly and versatile Monte Carlo simulator for modeling profiles of terrestrial cosmogenic nuclides. Our program permits the incorporation of site-specific geologic knowledge to calculate most probable values for exposure age, erosion or denudation rate, and inherited nuclide concentration and provides a rigorous treatment of uncertainties for these parameters. The simulator will soon be available for download and a web interface is currently being written for full functionality over the internet.
