During this session you will learn about the park’s various partnerships in geosciences education and some of the resulting products and programs. These include a multi-agency volcano hazards work group, planning and outreach efforts, new exhibits, training opportunities, multi-level curriculum materials, Mount Rainier National Park-based teacher workshops, the GeoScientist-in-Park Program, and developing international Sister Mountains curriculum and teacher exchange workshops. Curriculum materials and opportunities are appropriate for many levels, including elementary and secondary curricula that is aligned with standards, and postsecondary opportunities for students, teachers, and professors alike. Come learn about the evolution of these exciting educational partnerships and programs and how you can get involved!
