"So You Want to be a Geologist" is a leisurely four-hour Saturday classroom event which is held in Pittsburgh for college students located in the tri-state area who are majoring in geology or environmental science. Four professionals, volunteering for Pittsburgh Geological Society, present timely topics for students such as career choices and career development; information on academic choices, grad schools and field camps; tips on job searching, resume writing, and interviewing; and advice and illustrations on how to be a professional, including information on office behavior, ethics, and communications. The seminar is free and is limited to students. Lunch is provided by Pittsburgh Geological Society.
