The Plate Boundary Observatory (PBO) is the geodetic component of EarthScope, operated by UNAVCO and funded by the National Science Foundation. UNAVCO provides a diverse suite of geodetic data products and cyberinfrastructure services to support community research and education. Product collections include data from PBO instruments (1100 continuous GPS stations, 74 borehole strainmeters, 78 borehole seismometers, 26 shallow borehole tiltmeters, 22 borehole pore pressure sensors, 6 long baseline laser strainmeters and 100 campaign GPS systems), satellite SAR data (from ERS, ENVISAT and RADARSAT missions), airborne LiDAR data (collected by NCALM), and products generated by community members at the University of Colorado and UCAR (measuring local soil moisture, snowpack, and vegetation growth based on reflected GPS signals) and at the University of Nevada, Reno (GPS data quality). Since PBO’s inception, UNAVCO has archived 61 TB of data and distributed 128 TB of data to the community. Cyberinfrastructure supporting PBO data flow, access and analysis includes web services, time series plotters, the Geodesy Seamless Archive (GSAC), the Seamless SAR Archive (SSARA), and activities in support of EarthCube. UNAVCO also integrates data from complimentary projects to provide synergistic data products. For example, PBO GPS data analysis was recently expanded to include data from the Continuously Operating Caribbean GPS Observational Network (COCONet), the Southern California Integrated GPS Network (SCIGN), the Scripps Orbit and Permanent Array Center (SOPAC), and 500+ stations from the NGS CORS network. Adding these stations to the analysis stream will improve the resolution and quality of the PBO GPS solutions across the North American Plate and provide regional and local context for the ground motions in the continental interior. Individually and collectively, these data products and services facilitate research in tectonic and volcanic signals, dynamic and static earthquake ground motions, post-seismic deformation, reference frame determinations, glacial-isostatic adjustments, atmospheric phenomena, and hydrologic processes. We will provide an overview of UNAVCO geodetic data products and services available to the community to advance the understanding of Earth structure and processes.
