A REFERENCE COLLECTION OF MIDDLE DEVONIAN UPPER HAMILTON GROUP BRACHIOPODS FROM THE GEER ROAD QUARRY IN EATON NEW YORK

A reference collection of Middle Devonian brachiopods was constructed from specimens obtained at the Geer Road Quarry in Madison County (town of Eaton), New York. This collection showcases fourteen genera of brachiopods found in Upper Hamilton Group shales. Along with the collection is a reference booklet. The booklet contains descriptions of each of the genera, along with photographs detailing important morphological features. The purpose of this collection and associated booklet is to provide reference material for brachiopod identification to the many students and community members who collect at the quarry.
