The Weilasituo polymetal deposit located in Inner Mongolia, China. It is a super lager polymetal deposits formed by magmatic water. There are more than 120 ore bodies with different scales in this deposit. The lengths of the ore bodies are between tens of meters to 1 000m, the thickness of these ore bodies are between 0.1m to tens of meters. The main metals in these ore bodies are zinc and copper.

The complex distribution of ore bodies in this deposit causes some difficulties during the exploration of new ore bodies. To resolve this problem, we integrated all the ore-forming disciplines together, include the indicators from geochemistry, geophysics, and some other special ore body indicators, and built up a weighted characteristic analysis mathematic model for the quantitative prediction of unfound ore body exploration. The reserves of known ore bodies were used as weight of related indicators in variable matching matrix in the mathematic model, and very effective quantitative prediction of ore-prospecting targets was achieved and confirmed.
