What would an international climate deal look like if your students, colleagues, or community members were delegates to the United Nations climate negotiations? Find out through a simulation-based role-playing exercise, World Climate, that is framed by the same decision-support simulation used to provide rapid feedback to the real-world UN delegates and policymakers. World Climate puts participants into the roles of UN delegates and challenges them to create an international climate deal. The exercise provides an immersive, social experience in which participants learn first-hand about both the dynamics of the climate system and the social dynamics of climate decision-making. Initial evaluation of learning outcomes show that World Climate is highly engaging, memorable, and effective at delivering key insights into the climate system. We invite you to join more than 450 educators in over 35 countries and 30 states who have engaged in the World Climate Project since its launch in mid-June 2015.
