THERMAL FATIGUE ON MINOR BODYS SURFACE
I would like to review recent works on laboratory experiments, observations, and modelling of sub-critical fracture propagation on materials on the surface of small bodies. In particular I will focus on the role of sun radiative heating in driving thermal fatigue. The planetary science community is very interested in better understanding how important this process is in sculpting the surfaces of these bodies and the implications that this can have on the minor planet populations.
