Strike-slip fault zones play an important role in oil and gas migration process. However, how to identify strike-slip Fault zone and its internal structure in coverage area is a challenging research work. Therefore, analysis of strike-slip Fault zone structures by seismic processing technology is very important. We try to highlight these strike-slip fault zones in coverage area utilizing 3D seismic data in Tarim Basin, by the seismic processing technology. These technologies include enhanced filtering technology by dip steered faults, negative 90 degree phase conversion stratigraphic slice, horizontal slice attribute technique for characterizing Main Faults, 3D edge detection volume technology, neural network technology, ant body recognition technology, and so on. We established identification marks for strike slip faults, including slight dislocation of the same phase axis, minor deflection of the same phase axis, bifurcation and merging of the same phase axis, blank or disordered bands appear on the same phase axis, plane outlier of coherent body and ant body, and so on. The researches revealed that strike-slip fault zones had the characteristics of planar segmentation and vertical stratification, and induced crack zones had symmetrical distribution characteristics.
