GILDEN, Liz, ASHER, Pranoti, LAU, Waverly and ALVAREZ, James, American Geophysical Union, 2000 Florida Ave NW, Washington, DC 20009-1231

Mentoring365 is a virtual year-round program meant to foster mentoring relationships around the globe. The program currently hosts over 600 mentoring connections with roughly 2000 members in 36 different countries. Together, along with 15 additional society partnerships, we are committed to supporting individuals through all stages of their Earth and space science careers. The program provides a safe space for a wide range of mentoring techniques and learning styles. Mentors and mentees can engage in short or long-term mentoring connections, in-person mentoring, group mentoring, or topic-based group-mentoring called Circles.

The group mentoring program, called College of Fellows Mentoring Network, is designed to support postdocs in a year-long group engagement from mentors and peers. Circles foster a sense of community, promote access to careers outside of academia and other professional opportunities, and overall create a guided virtual space for all involved to learn and connect safely.
