CASSINI-HUYGENS MISSION OVERVIEW

The theme of the talk is the exploration, observation, and acquisition of new knowledge about Titan and the Saturnian System. Cassini-Huygens arrived at Saturn in July 2004. Huygens was released by Cassini on 25 December 2004 and carried out its Titan mission on 14 January 2005. Observations and measurements from both the Cassini Saturn Orbiter and the Huygens Probe will be described. They will be presented and discussed in terms of the new scientific results that they have obtained. Cassini-Huygens is a joint NASA-ESA program in cooperation with ASI.
