Palynological study plays a key role in the field of stratigraphy and biostratigraphy discipline for reconstructing palaeoenvironment, depositional history, climate change and also presence of hydrocarbon. The purpose of this paper is to prepare a pollen catalogue of different modern flora and fauna in some areas of Dhaka city, Bangladesh since most of the flora and fauna of Holocene time are more or less similar with the modern herbs, sharbs and trees. So, it helps scientist to identify the ancient palynological zone as well as paleo-environment. Known live vegetation samples were being collected from different garden of Dhaka city. Live samples were preserved in refrigerator and then analyzed via acetolysis process. Samples were analyzed under the microscope in 40x and 100x. The pollen of different taxa with reference slide samples as well as field being recorded with local and botanical name of flowers. This pollen catalogue can contribute to the academicians and professionals in the field of holocene pollen and assist them to identify the paleo-environment of Bangladesh, the largest delta of the globe.
