The American Geophysical Union (AGU) celebrates it's centennial anniversary in 2019 with the vision to broaden and deepen engagement within and outside of the Earth and space science (ESS) community. To achieve this vision, AGU launched a number of programs and initiatives that look back at the scientific breakthroughs of the last 100 years as well as programs that look towards the grand challenges, discoveries, and solutions that generations will share over the next century. This presentation will discuss the various programs and initiatives launched as part of AGU's Centennial, the metrics to date, and the lessons learned in working to achieve the centennial vision.
