EARTH SCIENCE AROUND THE WORLD

To help provide students with a firm understanding of Earth Science course concepts, each student is assigned one of forty-two different regions of the world. Throughout the course, they are given assignments focused on map reading via Google Earth, Astronomy, Geology, Hydrology/Oceanography, and Meteorology/Climate that pertains to their particular region, but uses understanding and skills acquired during the duration of the course. By the end of the course, students will be able to put together a final presentation about their region which implements the content knowledge learned throughout the class as it pertains to their particular region of the world.
