MAPPING THE SEA SURFACE AND OCEAN DEPTH FROM SPACE: AN ACTIVITY FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Methods in mapping the sea floor and the issues that presents will be explored. An AMS-developed hands-on activity profiling the topography of sea surface heights from satellite data and comparisons to ocean depth will be introduced with modifications presented for different learners and ages.
